something about a scent that doesn't need you to explain the pour

Angels' Share on the rocks. there's something almost edible about it, bourbon and oak and something soft underneath that you can't place exactly. it doesn't perform. it just stays.

warm enough.

something about this one felt different from the moment the dry-down started. woody and aromatic but not sharp, not trying to be anything it isn't. I kept coming back to it on days when I needed to feel settled.

it works in a way that's hard to explain to someone who hasn't worn it.

the other Matiere Premiere. same warmth but the projection reads a little differently on skin, which is either nothing or everything depending on the day. oriental wood that leans quiet in the best possible way.
