Oriental and warm, but not heavy. Something about this one felt different the first time I wore it past noon and it was still there, still quiet, still doing its thing.

Smooth. That's all.

Floral and musk and vanilla in one bottle sounds like too many decisions, but it isn't. It reads as one thing, not three. Something you wore without thinking and then someone asked what it was.

Woody and oriental and somehow neither one wins. It's been a few weeks now and I still can't decide if it's an evening scent or an all-day one. Which is either nothing or everything.

I keep wearing it anyway.

Pink Sea is a name I almost held against it. But the rose is real without being literal, and the freshness underneath keeps it from tipping into sweet. It's the one I put on when I don't want to think about what I'm putting on.
